What is free
Chatting costs nothing. Ask a question, think out loud, get an opinion, request an explanation, or just say thanks, and no credits are used. The same goes for planning with your Chief of Staff, setting up a connection to an outside tool, and hiring or adjusting your team. In short, the conversation is on the house. You can talk to your agents as much as you like. What uses credits
Credits are used for real work that gets delivered: That is it. When you hand an agent a piece of work and it finishes, that completed job draws from your balance. When a routine fires on its schedule, that run draws from your balance too.You only pay for delivered outcomes. If a job does not finish, it is not charged. Credits buy results, not attempts.
How much a job costs
A job is priced by how much work it took. Small, quick jobs cost the least, as little as a single credit. Larger jobs that involve more research, more steps, or heavier work cost more. You do not have to estimate anything up front. The cost is worked out from the actual job and shown in your history once it is done. When a job gets big
If a job starts turning into something much larger than usual, the agent pauses and checks with you first. You will see a plain question like “This is turning into a big job. Continue?” along with roughly how many credits it has used so far. Say yes to let it keep going, or stop it there. No large job runs up your balance without a heads-up.See your credits
There is a credits counter at the top of the app that shows how many credits you have left. Click it any time to open your usage. For the full picture, open Settings and go to Usage and credits. There you will find:- Credits remaining, out of the total your plan granted this month, with how much you have used so far
- A spend chart for the last 14 days, so you can see your busier and quieter days at a glance
- A history feed of every credit change, newest first. Each row shows what it was, whether credits came in or went out, and your balance afterward
When you run low
You will get plenty of warning before you run out.1
Running low
When your balance gets low, the credits counter turns to a warning tone and shows a top up nudge. Your agents keep working as normal.

Out of credits
If your balance reaches zero, your agents pause. They pick straight back up the moment you top up or your plan renews.
How you get more credits
Every plan includes a monthly allowance of credits that refreshes at the start of each month. The free plan includes a monthly allowance too. As you move up a plan, your monthly allowance grows. See Plans for what each one includes. Need more before your next refresh? Top up any time. Open Settings, go to Billing, and choose a top up. The credits are added to your balance right away, so your team can keep going without waiting for the month to turn over.Common questions

Do agents that run elsewhere use my credits?
Do agents that run elsewhere use my credits?
No. An external agent that runs on its own and connects into your workspace does its work on its own. It does not draw from your balance.
